The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, March 1, edition that Desjardins Securities analyst Gary Ho continues to rate Boyd Group Services "hold." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Ho's share target soared to $320 from $275. Analysts on average target the shares at $309.43. Mr. Ho says in a note: "We trimmed our 4Q SSSG [same-store sales growth] estimate but slightly raised our margin estimates. For 2024/25, we maintained our location growth estimates while increasing SSSG and raising margins by 10–30bps. Our target increased on a higher valuation, reflecting our comfort with improving EBITDA margins driven by healthy SSSG, location adds and an easing of labour challenges, as well as by rolling our valuation forward one quarter." The Globe reported on April 26, 2022, and Nov. 15, 2023, that CIBC analyst Krista Friesen continued to rate Boyd Group "neutral." The shares could then be had for $159.78 and $250.17. The Globe reported on Dec. 20, 2023, that Ms. Friesen had boosted Boyd to "outperform." It was then worth $272.21. The Globe reported on May 12, 2023, that Mr. Ho had lowered his recommendation for Boyd Group to "hold" from "buy." The shares could then be had for $244.22.
