The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, Feb. 21, edition that RBC Capital analyst Sabahat Khan is keeping his "outperform" call for Boyd Group Services intact. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Khan's share target soared by $58 to $348. Analysts on average target the shares at $306.21. Mr. Khan says in a note: "We believe demand for calibration services will grow over the coming years as ADAS [advanced driving assistance systems] penetration trends higher. In turn, we expect Boyd's calibration-related revenue to grow going forward, and the company should see some margin benefit as it transitions toward insourcing these services (vs. a 'drag' from outsourcing currently). Despite calibration being labour-intensive, however, we believe the overall margin opportunity will be comparable to Boyd's historical/normalized margin profile longer-term as calibration services are typically accompanied by expensive ADAS-related part repairs." The Globe reported on Nov. 14 that Mr. Khan rated Boyd Group "outperform." It was then worth $246.13. The Globe reported on Feb. 16 that BMO Capital analyst Tamy Chen had reaffirmed her "outperform" call for Boyd Group when it was worth $311.42.
