The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, Nov. 14, edition that TD Cowen analyst Steven Green is keeping his "buy" call for B2Gold intact. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Green gave his share target a 50-cent trim to $7. Analysts on average target the shares at $5.97. Mr. Green says in a note: "[Third quarter] results were below expectations, and production is tracking to the lower end of guidance as higher grade zones at Fekola have been delayed until 2025. B2Gold's net debt has climbed through 2024, however, we believe the company remains well positioned to deliver Goose to production." The Globe reported on Jan. 26 that CIBC had cut B2Gold to "neutral" from "outperformer." It was then worth $3.66. The Globe reported on Aug. 9 that Scotiabank analyst Ovais Habib had lowered his recommendation for B2Gold to "sector perform" from "sector outperform." It was then worth $2.47. The Globe reported on Sept. 24 that National Bank Financial analyst Don DeMarco had reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for B2Gold. The shares could then be had for $4.42.
