2026-10-29 16:52 ET - News Release

Mr. Jonathan Or reports

BEYOND OIL APPOINTS FOOD INDUSTRY EXECUTIVE SHAI ALTMAN TO ADVISORY BOARD TO SUPPORT NORTH AMERICAN GROWTH

Beyond Oil Ltd. has appointed Shai Altman to its Advisory Board. In this role, Mr. Altman will advise management on the company's North American commercial strategy, with a focus on key customer relationships and growth opportunities. He will draw on his operating and leadership experience at some of the world's leading food and consumer companies.

"With our technology validated at commercial scale by major North American customers and vendor approvals that open the door to leading national restaurant chains, the opportunity ahead is significant," said Jonathan Or, chief executive officer and co-founder of Beyond Oil. "Shai has built and led food and consumer businesses for years, and he understands the fried food industry from within. He brings the operating experience and strategic perspective to help us deepen our relationships with key customers, particularly in Western markets. We are thrilled to welcome him to the advisory board."

Mr. Altman is a senior food and consumer goods executive with nearly three decades of experience building businesses in Canada and internationally. He served as president of McCain Foods Canada, the Canadian operations of the world's largest producer of French fries and fried appetizers, and spent 17 years at the Wrigley Company (Mars Inc.), including as President of Wrigley Canada and general manager of Wrigley Israel and Wrigley India. He later served as CEO of publicly traded Zenabis Global Inc. until its successful acquisition by Hexo and as president, North America, of Remilk, an animal-free dairy protein company. Based in Toronto, Mr. Altman is managing partner of Altman Consulting Inc., where he advises start-ups, private equity firms, consumer packaged goods and global food companies.

"Beyond Oil has developed a technology that addresses one of the food industry's most fundamental challenges, and the company's commercial progress in North America is impressive," said Mr. Altman. "I am pleased to join the advisory board as the company advances its North American commercial strategy. Having spent my career building food and consumer businesses across Canada and around the world, I see significant opportunity for this technology across quick-service restaurants (QSR), food-service, retail and industrial settings, and I look forward to putting that experience to work, beginning with opportunities across North America."

Mr. Altman joins the advisory board's current members, Giora Bardea, former CEO and president of Strauss Group; Daniel Birnbaum, former CEO of SodaStream; Dganit Kramer, CEO of Hot Mobile; and Arie Halpern.

About Beyond Oil Ltd.
