The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, May 1, edition that Desjardins Securities analyst Brent Stadler is keeping his "top pick" designation for Boralex intact. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Stadler, however, gave his share target a $2 trim to $42. Analysts on average target the shares at $38.60. Mr. Stadler says in a note: "We forecast EBITDA of $213-million, ahead (5 per cent) of consensus of $203-million as we expect solid generation, project completions and strong pricing. Boralex remains our top pick in the renewables space as we view it as a lower-risk play with best-in-class growth and catalysts on the horizon." The Globe reported on July 21 and Sept. 12 that Mr. Stadler continued to rate Boralex "buy" when it was worth $35.32 and $32.51. The Globe reported on Nov. 10 and March 5 that BMO Capital analyst Ben Pham was maintaining his "outperform" recommendation on Boralex. The shares could then be had for $28.78 and $28.99. The Globe reported on April 19 that CIBC World Markets analysts Robert Catellier and Mark Jarvi had reaffirmed their "outperformer" recommendation for Boralex. It was then worth $26.76.
