The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, April 21, edition that ATB Cormark Capital Markets analyst Chris Murray has an unchanged "outperform" recommendation on Bird Construction. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Murray's share target soared $10 to $48. Analysts on average target the shares at $46.71. Mr. Murray says in a note: "We recently hosted management from Bird Construction for a corporate update. Management was increasingly bullish on its project pipeline, which continues to benefit from strong, balanced demand across primary end markets. Despite a slower 2025, Bird sees a path to reaching its 2027 revenue target, implying meaningful growth over the next 18 months, with expanding self-perform capabilities providing a line of sight to its 8-per-cent margin target. While construction names have rerated in H1/26, a strengthening opportunity set and margin outlook keep us positive on Bird." The Globe reported on May 16 and Feb. 20 that Mr. Murray had reaffirmed his "outperform" for Bird Construction. It was then worth $22.51 and $32.25.
