The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, March 27, edition that BMO Capital Markets analyst John Gibson is keeping his "outperform" call for Bird Construction intact. The Globe's Darcy Keith writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Gibson's share target soared $14 to $52. Analysts on average target the shares at $43.68. Mr. Gibson's share price upgrade came following meetings with company management. He met with chief financial officer Wayne Gingrich and vice-president of investor relations Rachel Pattimore. Mr. Gibson says in a note: "Overall, we came away with increased confidence that Bird should be able to hit its revenue and EBITDA margin targets by 2027 given embedded margins in its backlog, and increasing activity related to defence, data centre, nuclear and healthcare projects. We also believe this margin expansion should be sustainable over a longer period of time." The Globe reported on May 30, 2024, that Mr. Gibson had commenced coverage on Bird Construction with an "outperform" ranking. The shares could then be had for $21.34. The Globe reported on March 17, 2026, that TD Cowen analyst Michael Tupholme continued to rate Bird Construction "buy." The shares could then be had for $36.23.
