The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, March 19, edition that TD Cowen analyst Michael Tupholme has reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for Bird Construction. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Tupholme gave his share target a $3 trim to $33. Analysts on average target the shares at $33.38. Mr. Tupholme says in a note: "Overall, we see Q4/24's release as supportive of our constructive stance on Bird Construction. Reported adjusted EBITDA was 6 per cent ahead of consensus. Revenue growth was strong and margins showed healthy year-over-year improvement, while management's outlook commentary continues to be favourable. Further, Bird Construction appears to be well-positioned to manage uncertainties created by recent tariff/non-tariff measures in North America." The Globe reported on Aug. 14 that Mr. Tupholme had reiterated his "buy" recommendation for Bird Construction. The shares could then be had for $22.31. The Globe reported on March 14 that National Bank analyst Maxim Sytchev had reaffirmed his "sector perform" recommendation for Bird Construction. The shares could then be had for $21.51.
