BOMBARDIER ACQUIRES VELOCITY MAINTENANCE SOLUTIONS AND EXPANDS ITS TOP-RANKED SERVICE NETWOR

Bombardier Inc. has acquired Velocity Maintenance Solutions, a maintenance, repair and overhaul service provider. This strategic acquisition -- completed through Bombardier's U.S. subsidiary, Learjet Inc. -- marks another significant step in Bombardier's continuing expansion of its service business and reinforces the company's commitment to delivering exceptional convenience and care to operators worldwide.

Velocity Maintenance Solutions brings further expertise and a strong reputation for service excellence to Bombardier's existing No. 1 network (1). The company utilizes a 35,000-square-foot hangar at the Wilmington, Del., airport, and can rely on the support of 14 mobile repair trucks across the United States. With this footprint, Velocity Maintenance Solutions will further enhance Bombardier's ability to provide operators with a wide range of maintenance, support and service options, close to where they fly.
