The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Dec. 19, edition that Desjardins Securities analyst Bryce Adams has reiterated his "buy" recommendation for Aya Gold & Silver. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Adams advanced his share target by $2 to $32. Analysts on average target the shares at $25. Mr. Adams says in a note: "We are updating our model following the recently updated Zgounder mine plan, which we view as a credible operational plan that reflects recent results and the decision to increase open pit tonnes. The mine plan includes 5.8moz of silver production in 2026, which in our view sets expectations for guidance. Backed by recent operational results, we expect that Aya Gold will be able to execute on the new plan and for its shares to rerate on improved operational clarity." The Globe reported on June 20 that Mr. Adams had resumed coverage on Aya Gold with a "buy" ranking and a $20 share target. The shares could then be had for $12.59. The Globe reported on June 25 that equity analysts at National Bank Financial rated Aya Gold "outperform." The shares could then be had for $12.10.
