The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Dec. 19, edition that BMO Capital analyst Stephen MacLeod has reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for Aritzia. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. MacLeod gave his share target a $3 boost to $136. Analysts on average the shares at $111.67. Mr. MacLeod says in a note. "Our Nov/25 web traffic, app, and in-store sales analysis takeaways are positive. Robust total traffic growth continued (up 44 per cent); both Canada (up 20 per cent) and U.S. (up 69 per cent) remained strong in the seasonally strongest month of the year; traffic growth reflected customer engagement with winter launches and the Aritzia app launch, which we expect to be a meaningful comp driver; Bloomberg Second Measure data shows FQ3/26 U.S. in-store sales up 56 per cent, which has led to our higher estimates and target price. We believe Aritzia remains well-positioned to execute on its significant U.S. growth opportunity."
