The TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing an asset purchase agreement dated June 9, 2020, between Artemis Gold Inc., its wholly owned subsidiary, BW Gold Ltd., and New Gold Inc. (the vendor), whereby the company has agreed to acquire a 100-per-cent interest of the Blackwater gold project in central British Columbia. In consideration, the company made an initial cash payment of $140-million and issued 7,407,407 common shares to the vendor. Additional considerations include a cash payment of $50-million, payable one year following the closing, and a secured gold stream participation in favour of the vendor.
