The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, Jan. 23, edition that Scotia Capital analyst Konark Gupta has reaffirmed his "sector perform" recommendation for Andlauer Healthcare Group. The Globe's David Leeder writes that Mr. Gupta boosted his share target by $2 to $45. Analysts on average target the shares at $50. Mr. Gupta says in a note: "We are out of consensus on Andlauer Healthcare Group. Shares were down in 2023 and have also underperformed since the market troughed on October 27, 2023. We like Andlauer's exposure to positive secular trends in the North American healthcare logistics industry, solid market position in Canada, growing exposure to the U.S., high FCF visibility with low capital intensity, solid management team, and ability to outpace industry growth through organic initiatives and acquisitions. However, we are out of consensus on the name due to the ongoing post-pandemic normalization in certain segments of the business and weakness in the U.S. truckload market, while the stock's valuation is not overly attractive, in our view." The Globe reported on May 9 that Mr. Gupta had reaffirmed his "sector perform" recommendation for Andlauer Healthcare. The shares could then be had for $47.45.
