Amazon's Jeff Bezos and Microsoft-backed OpenAI's Sam Altman shared the spotlight with Mr. Zuckerberg and Tesla chief Elon Musk. Mr. Zuckerberg's change of stance is not surprising, as Meta faces significant legal challenges, particularly from European regulators who have imposed over $3-billion (U.S.) in fines for various violations, including abusive practices, antitrust issues and data breaches.
