The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, Jan. 31, edition that Desjardins Securities analyst Jerome Dubreuil has reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for Alithya Group. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Dubreuil continues to target the shares at $2.70. Analysts on average target the shares at $2.66. Mr. Dubreuil says in a note: "We believe more patience is required before we see a material improvement in the company's top line given we have not noticed an improvement in spending patterns from the financial services sector, which has been a source of challenges for Alithya Group recently. However, recent focus on efficiency should help profitability." The Globe reported on Feb. 16 that Acumen Capital analyst Jim Byrne had upgraded Alithya Group to "buy" from "hold." The shares could then be had for $2.28. The Globe reported on Sept. 6 that iA Capital analyst Neehal Upadhyaya rated Alithya Group "buy" in new coverage. The shares could then be had for $2.37. The Globe reported on Oct. 27 that Mr. Dubreuil had reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for Alithya Group, which could then be had for $1.93.
