AIMIA RECEIVES $8.8 MILLION TAX REFUND

Aimia Inc. has received a tax refund of $8.8-million, including net interest proceeds, following the final processing of the notices of reassessment from Revenu Quebec relating to a 2013 income tax audit of a company's former subsidiary.

As disclosed previously, Aimia expects to use the proceeds from the tax refund to support its 2025-2026 normal course issuer bid and for general investment purposes.

With the remittance from Revenu Quebec, Aimia has received a combined total tax refund of $38.1-million, including net interest proceeds, relating to the 2013 income tax audit. The company considers the matter closed and expects no further refunds or payments as a result.
