The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, June 28, edition that Eight Capital analysts Adhir Kadve and Christian Sgro see momentum building at enterprise software companies employing generative artificial intelligence. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that the analysts call it a "secular growth theme" that "will dominate the technology narrative for the foreseeable future." To gain exposure to the trend the Eight Capital analysts recommend Altus Group, which they rate "buy," with a $65 share target. Analysts on average target the shares at $62.67. The analysts say in a note: "Altus's machine learning algorithms bring together disparate and unstructured inputs across the world of commercial real estate (CRE) to provide property intelligence. Currently, there are no universal identifiers for real estate, such as a CUSIP for equities. Altus identifies properties, associates attributes within proprietary models that are actively maintained, and drives predictive insights for clients. Across advisory, tax, and valuation services, Altus generates immense exhaust data that we believe gives Altus a significant edge in maintaining its moat and driving value for customers."
