The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Jan. 23, edition that Desjardins Securities analyst Gary Ho, ahead of the Jan. 27 release of AGF Management's fourth quarter results, raised his share target to $18.50 from $17.75, while maintaining a "buy" recommendation. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that analysts on average target the shares at $18. Mr. Ho says in a note: "Industry flows have seen continued strength exiting 2025 on the back of positive market sentiment. Ongoing robust industry M&A activity (eg CI's purchase of Invesco's Canadian assets with $26-billion in AUM) reinforces AGF's scarcity value proposition -- takeout value worth $30+/share, in our view. We raised our estimates given higher AUM, our target price increases." The Globe reported on Jan. 17 and June 18 that Mr. Ho had reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for AGF Management. The shares could then be had for $10.68 and $11.94. The Globe reported on Sept. 23 that TD Cowen rated AGF Management "buy." It was then worth $14.31. The Globe reported on Dec. 11 that RBC Dominion Securities analyst Bart Dziarski had begun coverage on AGF Management with an "outperform" recommendation. It was then worth $15.55.
