The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday edition that Scotia Capital analyst Phil Hardie is keeping his "sector perform" recommendation for AGF Management intact. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Hardie boosted his share target by a loonie to $16. Analysts on average target the shares at $16.55. Mr. Hardie says in a note: "Investors reacted positively to AGF's Q3/25 results with much stronger than expected net flows likely being the highlight. AGF stock has seen a strong rally over the past few months likely benefiting from a confluence of factors that include robust equity markets and rising AUM, strengthening operational momentum, and in part by industry consolidation themes given recent activity in the space. We think continuing to deliver solid operating results and healthy industry backdrop will be key to sustaining the stock's momentum. By all accounts, AGF's third quarter results were strong with the combination of rising AUM and operating leverage helping to drive robust earnings growth and net flows rising. A key operational highlight from the quarter was the much stronger than expected mutual fund net flows, with AGF's net sales rate, doubling the pace of the industry."
