The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Oct. 16, edition that National Bank Financial analyst Maxim Sytchev has reaffirmed his "sector perform" recommendation for Ag Growth International. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Sytchev gave his share target an $8 trim to $11. Analysts on average target the shares at $16.36. Mr. Sytchev says in a note: "The valuation disintermediation narrative persists while median earnings revisions have been lagging the broader market, explained by a highly bifurcated nature of positives and narrative compression/cycle troughs. Looking forward, we think that earnings growth should in fact inflect further upwards in 2027E as the CapEx beneficiaries are still enjoying a highly buoyant spending environment (CAD government commitments to catalyze close to $400-billion in investments -- Canada Investment Summit 2026: Project prospectus underlines a historic pivot, and significant opportunities for our coverage, and most commodities are robust across the board) while the laggards are benefitting from re-based 2026E levels, creating an easier hurdle, prospectively."
