The Investment Reporter, in its April 28, 2023, issue, says buy Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd., recently $78.01. The Reporter said buy nine times from Oct. 19, 2007, to Jan. 20, 2023, at prices ranging from $51.80 to $94.45. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the nine buys, the $9,000 position would now be worth $9,751. Agnico Eagle Mines is a Canadian-based gold producer with operations in Canada, Australia, Finland and Mexico. The Reporter says the way Agnico Eagle is spread out in different geographies reduces geopolitical risk. The countries that the company is in also pose little geopolitical risk individually. Agnico Eagle pays a 54-cent-a-share quarterly dividend, which is equal to an annualized yield of 2.8 per cent. The Reporter says buy Agnico Eagle for growth and some income.
