American Antimony Advances Toward Initial Resource and Production at Bernice Canyon

2026-10-07 09:01 ET - News Release

Austin, Texas--(Newsfile Corp. - October 7, 2026) - American Antimony Corporation (OTCID: XTPT), operating as Xtra Energy Corp. ("American Antimony" or the "Company"), today announced the selection of the Arrance Mine as the focus of initial resource and production plans at its flagship American Antimony Project in Bernice Canyon, Nevada.

The decision comes as a result of discussions with permitting specialists, extensive fieldwork, geological mapping, engineering evaluation, and metallurgical work conducted over the last several months. The selection of the Arrance site is supported by strong channel sampling results from the mineralized dike in the lower adit, with results up to 31% Sb; Phase I drill results; positive drill results along strike toward the Antimony King Mine; favorable ground conditions; ample previously disturbed workspace; and amenability to the permitting process.

Notably, Phase I drill hole BC25-03 intersected 87 meters (285 feet) of continuous felsite-hosted mineralization averaging 1.46% Sb, including individual assays of up to 5.59% Sb and gold values of up to 1.33 g/t Au, with mineralization established to approximately 500 feet of vertical depth. Hole BC25-02 returned 7.6 meters (25 feet) grading 1.08% Sb, while hole BC25-05 returned 7.6 meters grading 0.72% Sb with associated gold. BC25-10 provided additional information on the geometry of the mineralized dike along the trend toward Antimony King.

View from within the historic Arrance Mine workings showing exposed latite host rock along the lower underground drift. Field observations of the ribs and back show moderate to strong antimony mineralization, including disseminated mineralization, antimony-bearing fracture fillings, and areas of quartz-vein stockwork. The existing underground workings provide direct access to the geological system being evaluated as the Company advances resource drilling, bulk sampling, engineering evaluation, and initial production planning at Arrance.

The initial focus of resource drilling, bulk sampling, and small-mine permitting will be the Arrance area and the corridor from Arrance to Antimony King, approximately 0.67 miles (1.07Km) along the dike trend, while the Company continues to evaluate the broader project.

Project-scale aerial view illustrating the approximately 0.67-mile corridor between the Arrance Mine and Antimony King Mine along the interpreted mineralized dike trend. The figure provides geographic context for the Company's initial focus on resource drilling, bulk sampling, small-mine permitting, and continued technical evaluation across the Arrance-to-Antimony King corridor.

Metallurgical work and flowsheet design are ongoing. An earlier program with ALS Metallurgy on material from the Antimony King Mine upgraded an approximately 30.3% Sb head grade to an approximately 63% Sb concentrate at approximately 97% antimony recovery through flotation.

Mac J. Shahsavar, P.Eng., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of American Antimony, commented:

"Our work at Bernice Canyon is becoming increasingly focused. Arrance gives us an important foundational base to prove out a world-class deposit while advancing the supply of domestically sourced antimony. We believe our Company is well positioned with a sizable, clean deposit located adjacent to the U.S. Navy land in one of the best mining jurisdictions in the world."
