WEALTH ANNOUNCES PASSING OF BOARD MEMBER

Wealth Minerals Ltd. board member Maurice Strong has died.

The management and the board of directors of Wealth would like to offer their sincere condolences to Mr. Strong's family and friends.

"For nine years, our company has been honoured to have had Maurice Strong serve as a member of our board of directors. For a junior resource company to have had such an internationally recognized businessman, environmentalist and philanthropist on our board is something we are very proud of. Our company has lost a talented and passionate leader, and I am deeply saddened by his passing.
