STRATEGIC METALS LTD. ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF ADDITIONAL SECURITIES OF ROCKHAVEN RESOURCES LTD.

Strategic Metals Ltd., further to the news release of Rockhaven Resources Ltd. on Jan. 3, 2017, has acquired an additional 11,346,712 common shares of Rockhaven in connection with $2-million owed to Strategic by Rockhaven pursuant to a credit facility agreement, which shares were issued at an average deemed price of approximately 17.6 cents per share.

Immediately prior to the issuance of these shares pursuant to the debt settlement, Strategic had ownership of and control over a total of 49,047,500 common shares of Rockhaven, representing approximately 41.42 per cent of Rockhaven's then issued and outstanding common shares. Following the acquisition of the acquired shares, Strategic currently has ownership of and control over 60,394,212 common shares of Rockhaven, representing approximately 46.55 per cent of Rockhaven's currently issued and outstanding common shares.

Strategic acquired the acquired shares for investment purposes. Depending on market conditions and other factors, Strategic may from time to time acquire and/or dispose of securities of Rockhaven, or continue to hold its current position.
