PACIFIC RUBIALES ENERGY CORP. ANNUAL AND SPECIAL MEETING VOTING RESULTS

Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. held its annual and special meeting of shareholders today, where each of the 12 nominees proposed as directors and listed on the company's management proxy circular dated April 14, 2015, was elected as directors. A total of 172,596,140 common shares was voted in respect of the election of directors at the meeting, representing approximately 55 per cent of the votes attaching to all outstanding common shares. The directors achieved an average approval vote of 76 per cent from shareholders.

Ronald Pantin, chief executive officer of the company, commented, "We would like to thank our shareholders for the continued support of the board of directors."
