MEDMIRA GRANTS STOCK OPTIONS TO OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS

MedMira Inc.'s board of directors, corporate secretary and chief financial officer have been granted options to purchase common shares under its stock option plan approved at the company's annual general meeting held on Jan. 25, 2013. Hermes Chan, Dr. Shou-Ching Tang, Romano Robusto, Markus Meile and Robyn Cook were granted options to buy a total of 1.35 million shares at an exercise price of 10 cents per share and exercisable for a period of two years ending March 2, 2016. These individuals, as well as Dr. Michael Sidler and Jelle Kuypers, were granted options to buy a total of 1.5 million shares at an exercise price of 10 cents per share and exercisable for a period of three years, ending March 2, 2017.
