Mr. Frank Saeli reports

MANULIFE ASSET MANAGEMENT HIRES MICHAEL J. MAHONEY AS MANAGING DIRECTOR, TAFT-HARTLEY SALES

Michael J. Mahoney has joined Manulife Financial Corp.'s Manulife Asset Management's U.S. distribution team as managing director, Taft-Hartley sales. Based in Boston, he reports to Frank Saeli, head of sales, relationship management and global distribution services.

"Mike brings extensive Tart-Hartley and industry experience to our team, and we are pleased to welcome him as we continue to expand and invest in our institutional business," said Mr. Saeli. "We have a growing book of North American Taft-Hartley business, and we look forward to bringing Mike's expertise to bear in developing unique investment solutions for our U.S.-based clients."

Most recently, Mr. Mahoney was with Clearbrook Global Advisors LLC, a New York-based investment consulting firm, where he served as managing director, responsible for business development and consulting services. Prior to joining Clearbrook, he was senior vice-president at Pyramis Global Advisors, responsible for Taft-Hartley business development and client service. Mr. Mahoney also has held senior positions with ULLICO Investment Company, HGK Asset Management, Harbor Capital Management and Mellon Institutional Asset Management. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island.
