IMPERIAL FILES MOUNT POLLEY MINE TECHNICAL REPORT

Imperial Metals Corp. filed today on SEDAR a National Instrument 43-101-compliant 2016 technical report on the Mount Polley mine.

The 2016 report updates all exploration activities and mining plans for the Mount Polley mine to Jan. 1, 2016. The report was prepared by Ryan Brown, PEng, senior mine engineer, Gary Roste, PGeo, senior mine geologist, Janice Baron, PEng, senior metallurgist, and Chris Rees, PhD, PGeo, senior geologist. The 2016 report also updates the reserve and resource estimate for Mount Polley, with an effective date of Jan. 1, 2016.

The 2016 report will be available on SEDAR and the company's website.
