The Investor said buy 22 times from May, 2001, to July, 2015, at prices ranging from $20 to $55. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the 22 buys, the $22,000 position is now worth $22,230. In this brief update, the Investor says IGM had $137.9-billion in assets under management as of July 31, 2015, down from $142.1-billion a year earlier. Despite the decrease, the Investor reckons that IGM is better off than many of its competitors, thanks to its dedicated sales force. This lets IGM form close relationships with clients (keeping redemption rates down) and lowers its dependence on selling through the brokerage industry. Buy.
