INTELLIPHARMACEUTICS ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

IntelliPharmaCeutics International Inc.'s Shameze Rampertab has resigned as vice-president finance and chief financial officer. He is leaving the company effective Oct. 10, 2014, to pursue an opportunity in the medical devices industry.

Dr. Isa Odidi, chairman and chief executive officer of the company, commented: "On behalf of the management team and the board of directors, I would like to thank Shameze for his contributions to IntelliPharmaCeutics, and to wish him success in his new endeavour. We believe that the company remains well positioned to continue to execute on its growth strategy."

Commenting on his time with the company, Mr. Rampertab noted, "I wish IntelliPharmaCeutics and my talented colleagues there all the best as they continue forward with their dynamic drug development and commercialization program."

The company has commenced a search to fill Mr. Rampertab's role. Pending the hiring of a replacement for Mr. Rampertab, the functions of CFO for IntelliPharmaCeutics will be carried out by the company's president and former CFO, Dr. Amina Odidi.
