Jay Taylor, in the Sept. 16, 2014, edition of Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks, says buy Ascot Resources Ltd., recently $2.05. This is the first time he has recommended the stock. Ascot has more than doubled from 90 cents at the beginning of August, and although Mr. Taylor says he does not like to chase stocks on their run up, this one is an exception that could soon "explode to much higher levels." The company holds the Premier and Dilworth projects in British Columbia. These are southeast of Pretium Resources' high-grade Brucejack project, and Ascot has already outlined an indicated and inferred resource at Premier of 4.6 million ounces of gold equivalent. On Aug. 22, it flew up after making a discovery at Premier, opening up a system with a strike length of over 1,600 metres, a dip length of up to 1,200 metres and widths of 30 to 150 metres. Mr. Taylor uses numbers from Brucejack to guess that this zone could hold over 30 million ounces. He acknowledges that work is still in its early stages, and says more information is coming over the next three months as results arrive from about 90 drill holes. He urges readers to keep an eye on Ascot, a "hidden gem" that is just starting to attract the interest it deserves.
