XIMEN ANNOUNCES THE CLOSING OF THE LAST TRANCHE OF THE PRIVATE PLACEMENT AND SHARES FOR DEBT

Ximen Mining Corp. has closed the last tranche of the private placement further to the company's news release dated Dec. 23, 2014, and updated on Jan. 29, 2015. The company announces Aug. 21, 2015, as the hold period expiry date in respect of the shares comprising the units and the shares issued upon exercise of the shares purchase warrants.

The company also announces that further to its news release dated March 31, 2015, the company has issued 1,318,078 common shares in settlement of the company's debts and announces Aug. 15, 2015, as the hold period expiry date.

The company is also pleased to announce that it has appointed Scott Kent as an independent director on its board of directors effective immediately. Mr. Kent brings to the team over 18 years of sales and marketing expertise and has many years of experience in providing public relations counsel to various sectors including mining and manufacturing.

The company further announces that Travis Snyder has stepped down as a director of Ximen Mining. The company would like to thank Mr. Snyder for his service to the company as a director.
