The TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing documentation relating to a share purchase agreement dated May 16, 2016, between several arm's-length parties and Poet Technologies Inc. Pursuant to the agreement, the company shall acquire 100 per cent of the shares of BB Photonics Inc.

As consideration, the company shall issue an aggregate of 2,015,000 shares to the vendors.
