Golden Touch begins 20-hole drilling program at Rubik

2011-03-28 10:42 ET - News Release

Mr. Aly Mawji reports

GOLDEN TOUCH BEGINS DRILLING ON GOLD RICH GJAZUJ VMS ZONE IN ALBANIA

Golden Touch Resources Corp. has started a 20-hole 2,000-metre drill program on the company's Rubik volcanogenic massive sulphide gold project in Albania. The Rubik gold project covers 68 square kilometres and is situated about 100 kilometres north of the Albanian capital, Tirana.

Golden Touch's Rubik exploration licence covers a 20-kilometre-long breccia zone. Exploration completed to date has discovered near-surface gold mineralization in seven areas along 10 kilometres of this breccia zone.

The first gold anomaly to be drill tested is at Gjazuj where the Albanian Geological Survey completed a drill program in the 1980s exploring for silica to use as a flux at a nearby copper smelter. The drill program defined a silica-rich breccia zone up to 30 metres wide with a strike length of 1,300 metres. Recent work has confirmed that the silica-rich breccia zone contains gold; channel sampling of a six-metre-wide outcrop of the breccia returned 6.3 grams per tonne gold. Drill testing of this gold anomaly has now commenced.

Aly Mawji, president of Golden Touch, stated: "I would like to congratulate the Golden Touch technical team in Albania for achieving another significant milestone with the start of the 2011 drill program. We have completed extensive fieldwork and data interpretation for our target selection and are pleased to now drill test these new targets and define the Gjazuj deposit."

Golden Touch's principal asset are the 100-per-cent-owned Albanian exploration projects, totalling approximately 140 square kilometres, located in northern Albania. The company has already spent in excess of $5-million (U.S.) on exploration within the permit areas, which has resulted in the outlining of significant gold, platinum group elements (PGE) and chromite mineralization.

Robert Murdoch, chairman of Golden Touch and a qualified person under the meaning of Canadian National Instrument 43-101, is responsible for the technical content of this news release.
