BANYAN GOLD ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF AGM

At Banyan Gold Corp.'s annual general and special meeting of shareholders held on June 8, 2015, Mark Ayranto, Richmond Graham, Tara Christie and Jay Collins were elected to serve as directors of the company for the ensuing year.

In addition, the following matters were approved at the meeting:

• The appointment of John J. Geib, chartered accountant, as the auditor of the company for the ensuing year and the authorization for the directors of the company to fix its remuneration;
• The ratification of the company's 10-per-cent rolling stock option plan;
• The adoption of new articles of the company allowing for shareholder meetings to be held outside Alberta;
• The ratification of the changes to the bylaws adopted by the directors regarding wording on the holding of shareholder meetings.
