The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Burcon NutraScience Corp. has arranged a rights offering under which it will issue one right per share held on Jan. 16, 2018. As stated in the company's rights offering circular dated Jan. 5, 2018, four rights and 57 cents will buy one share. The rights will begin trading at the open on Jan. 15, 2018, under the symbol BU.RT and Cusip No. 120831 16 9.

According to the TSX, the rights offering will expire at 5 p.m. Toronto time on Feb. 13, 2018. The rights will be delisted on the same day. The TSX notes that trades on Feb. 9, 2018, will settle on Feb. 12, 2018, and trades on Feb. 12, 2018, and from the open to 12 p.m. Toronto time on Feb. 13, 2018, will settle on Feb. 13, 2018.
