AMERIX PRECIOUS METALS ANNOUNCES NEW PRESIDENT AND CEO AND GRANTS STOCK OPTIONS

Steve Brunelle will be joining Amerix Precious Metals Corp. as president and chief executive officer, effective immediately. Mr. Brunelle is a Canadian geologist with over 29 years of experience in mineral exploration throughout the Americas. He has been an officer and director of several resource companies, most recently, Stingray Copper Inc., and prior to that, Corner Bay Silver Inc. At Stingray Copper, the Mexican bulk minable oxide copper deposit, El Pilar, was taken to feasibility in 2009 and, thereafter, Stingray was merged with Mercator Minerals Ltd. At Corner Bay Silver, the bulk mineable silver deposit Alamo Dorado was taken to feasibility and the company was acquired by Pan American Silver Corp. Mr. Brunelle is presently a director of Duran Ventures Inc., Escape Gold Inc. and Messina Minerals Inc.

The company also wishes to announce that Jeffrey Reeder is appointed executive chairman of Amerix and he will continue to be actively involved in the company's exploration and development programs.

The company also announces that a total of three million options to purchase common shares of the company have been granted to Mr. Brunelle at an exercise price of 12.5 cents per share, expiring on Jan. 25, 2016. The grant is subject to regulatory approval.
