ARCTIC ANNOUNCES PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Arctic Star Exploration Corp. intends to complete a $1.25-million non-flow-through, non-brokered private placement offering consisting of 6.25 million units at 20 cents with a full warrant (non-flow-through) at 30 cents good for two years. The proceeds will be used on its diamond exploration programs and for general working capital.
