PROGRESS CARGO SHIP CARRYING TWO URTHECAST CAMERAS SUCCESSFULLY DOCKS WITH ISS
As of Nov. 29, 2013, at
4:30 p.m. CST, the Progress 53P cargo ship carrying UrtheCast Corp.'s two
cameras successfully docked with the International Space Station.
Travelling aboard a Soyuz rocket, UrtheCast's cameras -- the world's
first one-metre class, high-resolution Earth video camera and one
medium-resolution imaging camera -- were successfully launched from
Kazakhstan's Baikonur cosmodrome on Monday, Nov. 25.
"For the second time in a week, UrtheCast has reached a highly
significant milestone," explained co-founder and chief executive
officer Scott Larson. "Our team of engineers couldn't be more satisfied
with how our international team and close partners have come together
to make the camera launch, flight and docking a success. We now look
forward to the cameras' installation and calibration."
The company expects to update the market with further progress regarding
the camera installation as it occurs.
We seek Safe Harbor.
