Jay Taylor, in the July 16, 2015, edition of Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks, refreshes his buy of Goldquest Mining Corp., recently 12 cents. He said buy six times from Dec. 16, 2010, to May 15, 2015, at prices ranging from nine cents to 96 cents. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the six buys, the $6,000 position is now worth $3,647. Goldquest recently updated its preliminary economic assessment of its Romero gold-copper project in the Dominican Republic. The new version shows a net present value of $219-million, an internal rate of return of 34 per cent, all-in sustaining capital costs of $572 per ounce of gold equivalent and a 2.7-year payback period. Shortly after releasing the new assessment, Goldquest announced that it would begin a prefeasibility drilling program, consisting of six holes. Mr. Taylor is eager to see the results. In his view, the fact that Goldquest can have an asset like Romero yet trade at around 10 U.S. cents is proof that today's market severely undervalues gold companies. Mr. Taylor advises, "If you don't own some you may want to pick some up at the current bargain basement price of around 10 U.S. cents."
