GREENPOWER ANNOUNCES NEW NOMINEE TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

GreenPower Motor Company Inc. has added David Richardson to the management-proposed slate of nominee directors for the company's forthcoming annual general and special meeting of shareholders to be held on March 25, 2015.

Mr. Richardson is the president and chief executive officer of Octaform Systems Inc. as well as a director of James Richardson & Sons Ltd. and its subsidiary Richardson International Ltd. He has over 20 years of capital markets experience and has served on a number of boards, including Ducks Unlimited Canada and the Asia Pacific Foundation, of which he was a founding member.

"Mr. Richardson brings a strong foundation of financial acumen, business experience and corporate governance to the company," said Fraser Atkinson, chairman at GreenPower. "We look forward to working with Mr. Richardson in developing GreenPower's business and increasing shareholder value."

Along with Mr. Richardson, the proposed slate of nominee directors for election at the coming annual meeting of shareholders will consist of current board members Fraser Atkinson, Phillip Oldridge, Mark Achtemichuk and Malcolm Clay.
