GEA TECHNOLOGIES LTD. ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR

GEA Technologies Ltd. has appointed Tony Ruggieri to the board of directors, effective Oct. 17, 2016, subject to customary TSX Venture Exchange acceptance.

Mr. Ruggieri is the president and founder of an engineering consulting firm in Calgary, Alta., that focuses on geotechnical and structural components for the residential construction industry. Mr. Ruggieri's many years of involvement with the residential construction industry have afforded him the opportunity to act on a variety of committees ranging from the CHBA, Calgary (Canadian Home Builders' Association), and the APEGA (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta). In addition, Mr. Ruggieri has served as a construction project manager for several ventures across Canada. Mr. Ruggieri holds a bachelor's degree in engineering with honours from Concordia University and an executive MBA from the University of Calgary. Mr. Ruggieri also holds a construction management certificate and a real estate certificate.
