FIRST NICKEL REPORTS INCIDENT AT LOCKERBY MINE

An explosion was experienced underground at First Nickel Inc.'s Lockerby mine on Sunday morning. One worker, who experienced minor injuries and smoke inhalation, completed a medical assessment and is now at home. Three workers were checked for smoke inhalation and released without medical treatment. The company is investigating the cause of the incident and resuming normal operations today.
