Celeste Copper Corp. has appointed Norman Brewster, director of the corporation, to the role of president and chief executive officer of the company.

Mr. Brewster, PGeo, has been the president and chief executive officer of Cadillac Ventures Inc. since October, 2007, and is a co-founder of Anconia Resources Corp. Mr. Brewster served as interim chief executive officer and interim president of Iberian Minerals Corp. (formerly known as PGM Ventures Corp.) from January, 2008, to June 2, 2008. Prior to that, Mr. Brewster served as executive chairman of Iberian Minerals Corp. of which he was a co-founder and currently serves as non-executive chairman and director. He served as president and chief executive officer of Simberi Mining Corp. (alternative name, Greenock Resources Inc.) from March 10, 2004, to July 4, 2005. He served as president of Spider Resources Inc. from 1993 to 2003 and also as its chief executive officer until 2003. He also served as a director of the company until August of 2010 when the company was acquired by Cliffs Resources Ltd.

In 1983, Mr. Brewster started his own consulting company, Minroc Management Ltd., and has gained geological and management experience operating throughout North America, the Caribbean, South America, Africa, Europe and Russia. Mr. Brewster has 40 years experience in the mining industry, predominantly in international exploration. During his education, Mr. Brewster gained experience as a geologist with the Nova Scotia and New Brunswick governments as well as various international assignments for ACA Howe International. He is a professional geologist with the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario. Mr. Brewster graduated from Acadia University in Nova Scotia in 1969 with a BSc in geology and BEd degree in 1971.

In addition, the company announces that Denis Clement, formerly the president and chief executive officer, will become vice-chairman of the company.

Mr. Clement commented: "We are pleased to have Norman Brewster assume the role of president and chief executive officer of Celeste. In addition to being a skilled geologist with over 40 years experience, Norman has a strong track record of creating shareholder value for resource companies, both from a hands-on operating business model perspective and in managing the public markets elements, which can be so critical to the overall success of an emerging company. I know Norman is committed to help the Celeste team realize the value that our exciting projects represent for our shareholders. I look forward to working with him."

Mr. Brewster commented: "I am excited to be leading the Celeste team to bring the Cornish mining region back into production. A tin project with the potential scale as this project should be a solid value creator. With this project and the management team Celeste's shareholders should be well positioned for the future."

We seek Safe Harbor.
