SCOTIABANK WILL WORK WITH CUSTOMERS THROUGH THE TRANS-PACIFIC PARTNERSHIP TRANSITION
This week, Canada and 11 other countries announced the conclusion of negotiations toward a Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement; Bank of Nova Scotia is committed to working with its customers, including those in the agricultural and auto sectors, on an individual basis to help them understand opportunities from the deal.
Gillian Riley, senior vice-president and head of commercial banking, said: "We have worked with our customers for more than 180 years, and helped them manage risks and grow. We encourage all our customers to come in and speak with their adviser to learn how we can help them through any financial transition and opportunities that this deal may bring."
Scotiabank has operations in 10 of the 12 TPP countries.
