CARDINAL ENERGY LTD. ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF DIRECTOR ELECTIONS

Cardinal Energy Ltd. has released the results of the vote on directors at its annual and special shareholders meeting held on May 9, 2025. A total of 53,879,300 votes, representing 33.72 per cent of the total votes entitled to vote at the meeting, were voted in connection with the election of directors. The voting results for the six directors nominated for election are set forth in the attached table.

Connie Shevkenek was elected a new director of Cardinal at the meeting. Ms. Shevkenek previously served as vice-president, engineering, of Cardinal, with her retirement effective May 9, 2025.
