The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, May 15, edition that after reaffirming his confidence in Brookfield's outlook, National Bank Financial analyst Jaeme Gloyn elevated his share target to $60 from $58, while maintaining an "outperform" recommendation (all figures U.S.). The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that analysts on average target the shares at $58.70. Mr. Gloyn says in a note: "Stronger than expected income from asset management and realized carried interest drove the beat to the Street. Management reiterated no exposure to private credit/software, and reaffirmed bullishness in real estate (in particular rents/occupancy moving significantly higher), realized carried interest picking up in H2, and the BWS outlook following JUST closing. Our share target increases on slightly higher estimates." The Globe reported on July 30 that Mr. Gloyn began coverage on Brookfield with an "outperform" ranking. The shares could then be had for $67.47. The Globe reported on Oct. 28 that Mr. Gloyn had reaffirmed his "outperform" call on Brookfield, when it could be had for $47.48.
