The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, May 29, edition that Desjardins Securities analyst Frederic Tremblay has reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation and $1.50 share target for Atlas Engineered Products. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that analysts on average target the shares at $1.76. Mr. Tremblay thinks "momentum is building" for Atlas Engineered after "strong" first quarter results that displayed some of its strengths, including "an ability to leverage its portfolio of complementary products to sell full packages to customers, a proactive sales team, design expertise and buying power" Mr. Tremblay says in a note: "Looking ahead, we are encouraged by the sharp increase in quotes year-to-date, a recent pick-up in order intake, expected benefits of an automated plant starting in 2026 and the role that Atlas Engineered Products can play in solving Canada's housing shortage. Valuation of approximately 5 times 2026 adjusted EBITDA looks attractive." The Globe reported on Sept. 18 that Raymond James analyst Daryl Swetlishoff had reaffirmed his "strong buy" recommendation for Atlas Engineered Products. The shares could then be had for $1.38.
