GOLDQUEST REPORTS ITS OPERATIONS WERE UNAFFECTED BY HURRICANE IRMA

The Category 5 hurricane Irma has had minimal impact on Goldquest Mining Corp.'s operations in the Dominican Republic. Goldquest's operational area in the San Juan province experienced heavy rains but not the severe high winds which impacted the north of the Dominican Republic and other islands in the Caribbean. All the company's personnel are safe.

As a prudent precaution, the company paused field activities on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2017, and anticipates returning to its substantial field programs including drilling at the Cachimbo Discovery tomorrow, an induced polarization geophysical program and geochemical sampling complementing continuing detailed mapping in advance of drill target selection.
