CHINOOK ANNOUNCES STOCK OPTION GRANT

Chinook Tyee Industry Ltd. has granted incentive stock options to purchase up to 1.02 million common shares of Chinook to its directors, officers, employees and consultants in Germany, Switzerland and Canada pursuant to its stock option plan, including 655,000 options issued to directors and officers. Each option vests immediately, has an exercise price of 15 cents per share and is valid for a period of one year from the date of issuance.
